Materials
– Worsted weight cotton yarn (approx. 10g)
– 3.5 mm crochet hook
– 1 small snap button or sew-on button
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors

Instructions

  1. Base Strip:

    • Ch 26 (for approx. 10 cm length — adjust chain for longer/shorter cords)

    • Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across. (25 sc)

    • Row 2–6: Ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch across.

    • Fasten off and weave in ends.

  2. Button Flap (Optional tab):

    • Rejoin yarn at one short end.

    • Row 1: Ch 1, sc 6 across edge

    • Row 2–3: Ch 1, turn, sc across

    • Fasten off and sew button or snap to tip.

  3. Attach Closure:

    • Sew second part of snap or button to opposite short end.

    • Make sure it wraps snugly around rolled cable before closing.
