Materials
– 100% cotton yarn (Sport weight, ~25g)
– 3.0 mm crochet hook
– Tapestry needle
– 1 small button (1 cm diameter)
– Scissors

Instructions

Foundation: Chain 21.
Row 1: Starting from second chain from hook, SC (single crochet) in each stitch. Turn. (20 sts)
Rows 2–18: Ch 1, SC in each st across. Turn.
Flap:
– Row 19: SC in next 15 sts, leave last 5 unworked.
– Rows 20–23: Repeat Row 19.
– Row 24: SC2tog, SC 11, SC2tog. Turn.
– Row 25: SC2tog, SC 9, SC2tog. Turn.
– Row 26: SC across (11 sts). Fasten off.
Finishing:
– Fold bottom ⅔ of the rectangle up to form the pocket and seam the sides using whip stitch.
– Sew button on body part and create a loop from chain stitches on the flap if desired.
– Weave in all ends.
