Instructions
Base:

Ch 40, join with sl st to form a ring (be careful not to twist).

Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each ch around. Join. (40 dc)

Rounds 2–3: Ch 3, dc in each st around. Join.
→ This creates a strong bottom foundation.
Mesh Body:

Round 4: Ch 5 (counts as dc + ch 2), skip 2 sts, dc in next — repeat around. Join to 3rd ch.

Rounds 5–20: Sl st into ch-2 space, ch 5, dc in next ch-2 space — repeat around.
→ For a deeper bag, continue mesh rounds to Round 24.
Top Edging:

Round 21: Ch 1, sc in ch-2 space, sc in dc — repeat around.

Handles:

Rejoin yarn at side of bag.
