Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch and across (30 sts)

Work 2 more rows on each side of the hole separately.

Then reconnect yarn across entire row and sc 1 more row to finish top.
-
-

Work 6–7 rounds in sc to form side walls (match height of box).

Optional: Switch to hdc for faster height.
-
-
Bottom Closure (optional):
-
You can leave the bottom open or crochet button flaps/ties to hold it in place.
-
How To

Cotton Yarn = Structure:

Use neutral tones for a minimalist look or color stripes to match your décor. -
Custom Size:
Just measure your box and adjust chains/stitches accordingly — super flexible. -
Fast Finish:
Single crochet keeps it simple, and the square shape makes seaming easy.
