Materials

  • 50g worsted weight cotton or acrylic yarn

  • 4.0 mm crochet hook

  • Yarn needle

  • Stuffing (polyfill)

  • Scissors

  • Optional: felt or yarn scraps for eyes/smile

Instructions

Main Pillow (Make 2 Squares):

  1. Ch 21

  2. Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (20 sc)

  3. Row 2–20: ch 1, turn, sc in each st

  4. Fasten off, make 2 panels

Tooth Pocket (Optional Appliqué):

  1. Ch 10

  2. Row 1: sc in 2nd ch and across (9 sc)

  3. Row 2–5: sc rows with slight decreases on each side to shape top of tooth

  4. Sew pocket to center of one square (top open)

Assembly:

  1. Place squares together, wrong sides facing

  2. sc around 3 sides, insert stuffing, finish last side

  3. Optional: embroider eyes/mouth or sew on felt shapes

  1. Pocket Tip: Stitch only the sides and bottom so the top remains open

  2. Size Tip: Adjust chain count for larger or smaller pillow

  3. Closure Option: Add a button tab or ribbon to hang from a bedpost or doorknob
