Fun Little Amigurumi Cactus Dolls

Materials:

Medium weight yarn (Worsted weight) in green, orange, yellow, and light pink
Filling (polyester fiberfill)
3.5 mm (E-4) crochet hook
Safety eyes (10 mm, 2 for each doll)
Yarn needle
Scissors

st - stitch

Instructions:

Body:
With green yarn, make a magic ring.

Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring.
Round 2: inc in each st around (12 sc).
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) around (18 sc).
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) around (24 sc).
Rounds 5-10: sc in each st around (24 sc).
Round 11: (2 sc, dec) around (18 sc).
Round 12: (1 sc, dec) around (12 sc).
Stuff the body with fiberfill before closing. Continue with:
Round 13: Dec around (6 sc).
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Hat:
Switch to orange yarn.

Chain 4 and join to form a ring.
Round 1: 8 sc in ring.
Round 2: inc in each st around (16 sc).
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) around (24 sc).
Rounds 4-5: sc in each st around (24 sc).
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Attach to the top of the cactus body.

Scarf:
With light pink yarn, chain 50 (or desired length).

Row 1: sc in each chain (50 sc).
Fasten off and attach the scarf around the neck of the cactus doll.

Finishing:
