Continue in garter stitch, repeating every other row, until your piece measures 8 inches. Begin to stuff the body with fiberfill. Continue decreasing by 1 stitch at both ends every 4 rows until 6 stitches remain. Cut yarn and thread through remaining stitches. Pull tight to close the body.

Hat: With light green yarn, CO 20 stitches. Work in garter stitch for 5 rows. For the brim, switch to purl stitch for 2 rows. Fold and stitch in place. To shape the top, decrease by 1 stitch on either end every 4 rows until 3 stitches remain. Pull tight to close.
