Striped Amigurumi Doll
Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight (#4) yarn in three colors - dark blue, light blue, and black (approximately 50 yards of each color)
- Filling: Polyester fiberfill
- Safety eyes (10mm)
- Buttons: One large button for decoration (around 1.5" in diameter)
- Knitting needles: US Size 4 (3.5mm) for the doll and US Size 6 (4.0mm) for the scarf

Gauge:
18 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch. To check your gauge, knit a swatch of 20 stitches for 4 inches. If your swatch is larger than 4 inches, try a smaller needle size; if it’s smaller, try a larger size.
Abbreviations:
- sts = stitches
- k = knit
- p = purl
- k2tog = knit two together (a decrease)

Instructions:
Body:
- Using the light blue yarn, CO 30 sts.
- Row 1-10: k across.

- Rows 1-12: k across.
- Row 13: k2tog across (5 sts remain).
- Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread through remaining stitches and pull tight to close. Weave in ends. Attach arms to body with yarn or sewing needle, positioning them on either side of the body.
Scarf:
- Using black yarn, CO 60 sts.
- Row 1-6: k across.
- BO all sts. Weave in ends. Wrap around the neck of the doll.
Finishing touches:
