Materials
– Fingering or sport weight cotton yarn (approx. 30g)
– 3 mm crochet hook
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors
– Optional: thin interfacing or felt for lining

Instructions

  1. Make Main Rectangle (One Piece):

    • Ch 42

    • Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (41 sc)

    • Row 2–40: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across

    • Your piece should measure approx. 20 cm wide × 13.5 cm tall

  2. Create Inner Pockets (by folding):

    • Fold each short edge inward ~6 cm to create the passport flaps

    • Leave center open for the passport booklet to slide in

    • Use whip stitch or sc up both sides to seam the cover closed

  3. Finishing:

    • Weave in ends

    • Optionally line the inside with felt or fabric using fabric glue for added firmness
