Summer Crochet Crop Top and Cover-Up

Materials:

Yarn: 100% cotton yarn, weight 4 (medium). Approximately 300 yards (275 meters) in white.

Instructions:

Cover-Up:

Chain 20. This will form the top edge of the cover-up.
Row 1: ch 3, dc in each chain across, turn.
Row 2: ch 3, dc in same st, *ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in next st; repeat from * across, turn.
Row 3: Repeat Row 2.
Continue this pattern until the cover-up measures approximately 15 inches long or desired length.
To create the fringe, add a chain of 10 and attach to the bottom points of each diamond created by your previous rows.
