Materials

  • 200g DK weight cotton yarn

  • 4.0 mm circular needles (or straight needles)

  • Stitch markers

  • Tapestry needle

  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Front & Back Panels (Make 2):

    • Cast on 80 stitches (adjust for size)

    • Row 1–6: K1, P1 rib

    • Row 7–65: Stockinette stitch (knit RS, purl WS) until piece measures ~40cm (or desired length)

    • Shape armholes by binding off 4 sts at each end, then continue in stockinette for 12 more rows

    • Shape neckline by binding off center 20 sts and finishing each shoulder separately for 6 more rows

    • Bind off remaining shoulder stitches

  2. Seaming:

    • Seam sides, leaving armholes

    • Seam shoulders

  3. Edging (Optional):

    • Pick up stitches around neckline and armholes, knit 4 rounds in rib or i-cord bind-off for a clean finish
