Instructions:

Flower: Start with yellow yarn.
R1: Make a magic ring, ch 2 (counts as first dc), then make 11 dc into the ring (12 dc). Pull the ring tight to close.
R2: 2 dc in each dc around (24 dc). Join with a slip stitch to the top of the starting ch 2.
R3: *dc in next st, 2 dc in next st* repeat around (36 dc). Join.
R4: *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st* repeat around (48 dc). Join.
R5: Ch 2, dc in each st around. Join and fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Weave the tail through the top of the flower and pull to gather slightly.

Center of Flower: With brown yarn, make a magic ring and ch 1.
R1: 6 sc in ring. Join with a slip stitch.
