Sunflower Hot Pad

Materials:

Yarn: 100% cotton yarn (worsted weight) in white (200g), yellow (50g), dark brown (30g), and light brown (30g).

Instructions:

Base:
1. With white yarn, ch 4. Join with a sl st to form a ring.

3. Round 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc around. Join with a sl st. (24 dc)

7. Round 6: Ch 3, dc in next 4 st, 2 dc in next st; repeat from around. Join with a sl st. (72 dc)

Sunflower Petals:
Change to yellow yarn.

Center of Sunflower:
