Instructions:

Body:

Rounds 4-8: sc in each stitch around (18 stitches for 5 rounds).
Round 9: *1 sc, dec* repeat around (12).
Round 10: *dec* around (6).
Stuff the head firmly with polyester fiberfill.
FO and leave a long tail for sewing.

To make the ears, use pink yarn:

With pink yarn, ch 5.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, inc, sc in remaining stitches (7).
Row 2: Turn, ch 1, dec, sc in last (5).
Row 3: Turn, ch 1, dec (3). FO, leave a tail.
Make 2 ears.

Assembly:

Sew the head to the body using the yarn tail from the head.
Sew the ears onto the top of the head.
Attach safety eyes between rounds 4 and 5 of the head.
Use black yarn or embroidery thread to create a nose and whiskers.

Finishing:
