Amigurumi Llama Family

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn in Yellow (2 skeins), Pink (1 skein), and White (for details)
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Stitch marker
  • Yarn needle

Gauge:

4 inches = 12 single crochets (sc) in the round. To check your gauge, make a small swatch of 12 sc, and measure it against a ruler.

Body (for all sizes):

Yellow Llama (Large):

  1. R1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
  2. R2: inc in each st (12)
  3. R3: (1 sc, inc) around (18)
  4. R4-R11: sc in each st around (18)
  5. R12: (1 sc, dec) around (12)
  6. R13: dec around (6), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Medium Yellow Llama:

  1. R1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
  2. R2: inc in each st (12)
  3. R3: (1 sc, inc) around (18)
  4. R4-R9: sc in each st around (18)
  5. R10: (1 sc, dec) around (12)
  6. R11: dec around (6), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Small Yellow Llama:

  1. R1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
  2. R2: inc in each st (12)
  3. R3: (1 sc, inc) around (18)
  4. R4-R7: sc in each st around (18)
  5. R8: (1 sc, dec) around (12)
  6. R9: dec around (6), fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Head:

Use the same pattern as the body sizes but make only 6 rounds.

Assembly:

  1. Stuff each head and body securely with fiberfill.
  2. Sew the heads onto the bodies using the long tails left from the last rounds.
