4. Row 3: Change to the next color (for example, switch to red). Turn and repeat row 2, increasing in the same way until you have worked 6 rows, alternating colors every two rows (red, blue, green, white, etc.).

5. Continue this pattern: Repeat until the blanket reaches your desired length, approximately 60-70 inches for a full throw blanket.

6. Last row: For the final row, use your last color and work 1 dc in each stitch across, fasten off, and cut the yarn.

Finishing:

Weave in all loose ends with the tapestry needle. For a polished look, gently block the blanket by laying it flat, shaping it to your desired dimensions, and pinning it down until it dries.
