
Classic Garter Stitch Knit Bowtie
This timeless knit bowtie is simple, flat, and entirely made in garter stitch. It’s perfect for formal outfits, photoshoots, or as a handmade gift. You can wear it with an adjustable strap or attach it to an elastic band — even a pet collar!
Materials
– DK or worsted weight yarn (approx. 15g)
– 4 mm knitting needles
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors
– Optional: elastic band or button, hot glue
Instructions
The bowtie is made of 2 small rectangles: one for the bow and one for the center wrap.
