Colorful Crochet Coasters and Patches

Gauge:

Coasters (2 designs):
Round Coaster

- Finish by cutting the yarn and weaving in the ends using the tapestry needle.
Heart Coaster
- Using blue yarn, ch 2.
- Row 1: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook. (2 sc)
- Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st across. (4 sc)
- Row 3: Ch 1, turn, *sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; repeat from * across. (6 sc)
- Continue increasing until the piece is about 4" wide.
- Shape into heart using slip stitches along the edges, making sure to maintain a heart shape.
- Embellish the center with a yellow heart by crocheting a small heart and sewing it on or working it directly into the piece.
