Gauge: 12 stitches and 15 rows = 4 inches in double crochet. To measure, crochet a swatch of 4 inches by 4 inches and count the stitches and rows within that area.

Instructions:

Body of the Blanket:

With Color 1 (Light Beige), make a slip knot and chain 100. This will be your foundation chain.
Row 1: In the 4th chain from the hook, make 1 dc. Continue making dc in each ch across (total of 98 dc). Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (this counts as your first dc), dc in the next dc, *ch 1, skip the next dc, dc in the next dc; repeat from * across. You should end with 49 dc and 49 ch-1 spaces. Turn.
