Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill
Safety eyes: 12mm black plastic eyes
Yarn needle for weaving in ends

4” x 4” = 18 stitches x 24 rows in single crochet (sc) using G hook. Measure by making a small swatch of 10 stitches and counting the rows. Adjust your hook size if necessary to meet gauge.

CH - chain
SC - single crochet
INC - increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
DEC - decrease (2 sc together)
SL ST - slip stitch
RND - round
FO - fasten off

Body:
With orange yarn, make a magic ring and work 6 sc in ring (6).
RND 1: INC in each stitch around (12).
RND 2: (1 sc, INC) around (18).
RND 3: (2 sc, INC) around (24).
RND 4: (3 sc, INC) around (30).
RND 5-10: SC in each stitch around (30).
RND 11: (3 sc, DEC) around (24).
RND 12: (2 sc, DEC) around (18).
RND 13: (1 sc, DEC) around (12).
RND 14: DEC around (6).
FO and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff the body before closing. Sew closed and weave in ends.

Head:
Work in the same way as the body until RND 10.
RND 11: (4 sc, INC) around (36).
RND 12-15: SC in each stitch around (36).
RND 16: (4 sc, DEC) around (30).
RND 17: (3 sc, DEC) around (24).
RND 18: (2 sc, DEC) around (18).
RND 19: (1 sc, DEC) around (12).
RND 20: DEC around (6).
FO and leave a long tail. Before closing, sew in the safety eyes between RND 14 and 15, about 6 stitches apart. Stuff the head before closing. Sew closed and weave in ends.

Ears (make 2):
With orange yarn, make a magic ring and work 6 sc in ring (6).
RND 1: INC in each stitch around (12).
RND 2: SC in each stitch around (12).
FO, leaving a tail. Stuff lightly and sew to the top of the head.

Nose:
With white yarn, make a magic ring and work 6 sc in ring (6).
RND 1: INC in each stitch around (12).
FO and sew onto the face, just below the eyes.

Bow Tie:
With blue yarn, chain 10.
Row 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and across (9).
Row 2: CH 1, turn, SC in each stitch across (9).
FO, leaving a long tail. Pinch the middle and wrap the yarn around to create a bow shape. Sew onto the neck.

Overalls:
With blue yarn, chain 40.
Row 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and across (39).
Rows 2-10: CH 1, turn, SC in each stitch across (39).
Fold in half to create the legs, stitching the sides for about 10 rows, leaving enough space for joining to the body.
Attach to the body under the arms.

Finishing:
Weave in all loose ends.
For blocking, lightly steam the finished toy to shape.
