Crochet Flower Bookmark
Materials:
- Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (4) in light blue and a small amount of white

Gauge:
Your gauge isn't critical for this project, but aim for 4 stitches per inch in single crochet. To check your gauge, measure your work with a ruler or tape to make sure your stitches are even.

- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- sl st - slip stitch
- dc - double crochet
- sp - space
Instructions:
- Make the Flower:
- With light blue yarn, make a slip knot and ch 4. Join to form a ring.
- Round 1: Ch 1, work 10 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (10 sc)
- Round 2: Ch 2, work 2 dc in the same st. *Skip 1 sc, work 2 dc in the next sc.* Repeat from * to * around. Join with a sl st. (20 dc)
- Round 3: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each dc around. Join with a sl st. (20 sc)
- Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- Make the Stem:
- With light blue yarn, ch 50 (or your desired length for the bookmark).
- Work 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. (49 sc)
- Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.
- Assembly:
- Using the yarn needle, sew the flower to one end of the stem. Tie the knot securely and weave in any ends.
