Crochet Giraffe Amigurumi

Crochet Giraffe Amigurumi
Materials:

- Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill

Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- inc = increase (2 sc in same stitch)
- dec = decrease (sc two together)
- sl st = slip stitch

Body:
- With blue yarn, make a magic ring. 6 sc into the ring. (6)
- Round 1: Inc in each stitch around. (12)
- Round 2: (1 sc, inc) repeat around. (18)
- Round 3: (2 sc, inc) repeat around. (24)
- Rounds 4-10: Sc in each stitch around. (24)
- Round 11: (2 sc, dec) repeat around. (18)
- Round 12: (1 sc, dec) repeat around. (12)
- Stuff the body. Round 13: Dec around until closed. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Neck:
- With green yarn, make a magic ring. 6 sc into the ring. (6)
- Repeat steps from the body for rounds 1-12. (24)
- Stuff the neck and attach it to the body, then dec until closed. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Head:
- With blue yarn, make a magic ring. 6 sc into the ring. (6)
- Round 1: Inc in each stitch (12)
- Round 2: (1 sc, inc) repeat (18)
- Round 3: (2 sc, inc) repeat (24)
- Rounds 4-7: Sc in each stitch (24)
- Round 8: (2 sc, dec) repeat (18)
- Round 9: (1 sc, dec) repeat (12)
- Attach safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6. Stuff the head and dec until closed.
Horns:
- Using yellow yarn, ch 6. Sc in 2nd ch from hook through to end and slip stitch back to the start for a loop.
- Repeat for 2 horns and sew them to the top of the head.
Arms (make 2):

Legs (make 2):
- Repeat arms' process but add green yarn for stripes. End with dec and stuff lightly.
After finishing all pieces, sew the head to the neck, then the neck to the body. Stitch on the arms and legs securely.
Finishing Tips:
- Weave in all ends neatly to hide them inside your plush giraffe.
