Instructions:

Base of the Bag:

Rnd 3: *1 sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st* repeat around. (18 sts)
Rnd 4: *1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st* repeat around. (24 sts)
Rnd 5: *1 sc in the next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st* repeat around. (30 sts)
Rnd 6: *1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st* repeat around. (36 sts)
Continue increasing in this manner until the base measures approximately 10 inches in diameter, usually around 10-12 rounds.

Sides of the Bag:

When you reach the desired diameter, stop increasing.
From here, work in continuous rounds without increasing:
Rnd 1: 1 sc in each st around. Repeat this round until the sides reach 8 inches in height.

Finishing the Bag:

To create the top finished edge, make 1 more round of sc, then switch to slip stitches for a cleaner edge.
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Pull the tail through the last loop and tighten.

Strap:
