Daisy Crocheted Bikini Top
Materials:
- Yarn: Cotton yarn ( medium weight, approximately 200 yards in orange and 50 yards in white)
- Hook: 4.5 mm (US size 7) crochet hook

Gauge:
6 stitches and 7 rows = 2 inches in double crochet. To check your gauge, crochet a small swatch of 20 stitches for 10 rows, measure your swatch, and adjust your hook size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge.
Abbreviations:
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- sl st = slip stitch
- inc = increase (2 stitches in one stitch)
- dec = decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
Instructions:
Base:
- Ch 30 in orange. Join with a sl st to form a ring.
- Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each ch around. Join with sl st to the top of the ch-3. (30 dc)
- Round 2: Ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, inc in next, repeat around. Join. (40 dc)
- Round 3: Ch 3, dc in each stitch around. Join. (40 dc)

- Round 5: Ch 3, dc in each stitch around. Join. (50 dc)

- Rounds 7-10: Ch 3, dc in each stitch around. Join. (60 dc)
Daisy Appliqué:
- Using white yarn, create a magic ring.
- Round 1: Ch 2, 12 dc in the ring. Pull tight to close. Join with sl st. (12 dc)
- Round 2: Ch 1, sc in same space, *ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in next 2 ch, sl st in next dc*; repeat from * to * 5 times. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Assembly:
- Attach the daisy appliqués to the front of the bikini top by sewing them on with the tail left from the round.
- For the neck and back ties, chain 40 in orange and attach at both corners of the top.
Finishing:
