
Newborn Bunny Amigurumi Crochet Pattern (Free Pattern)
This soft and simple mini bunny is perfect for newborns.

Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
Round 5–9: sc around (24)
Round 10: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)
Round 11: (1 sc, dec) x6 (12)
Start stuffing the head.
Round 12: (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
Round 13: (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)
Round 14–18: sc around (24)
Round 19: (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)

Round 21: dec x6 (6)
Fasten off, close the hole, weave in the end.
Ears (make 2):

Sew both ears to the top of the head.
Face:

Sew on safety eyes between Rounds 5–6 (or embroider with black yarn)

Start with a Ball:
Work the head and body as one piece — no joining needed! This makes it faster and cleaner. -
Build Volume:
The bunny’s soft shape comes from increases and decreases. Use tight stitches to hold stuffing well. -
Add Simple Ears:
Two small rows folded in half and sewn in place become the ears. Very easy and quick to attach. -
Facial Features:
For newborn safety, prefer embroidered eyes and nose. You can skip accessories or keep them soft. -
Finish and Shape:
Once stuffed and sewn, just massage the shape a bit and your mini bunny is ready!
