Instructions:

1. Start with a foundation chain: Make a slip knot and chain 5. Join with a slip stitch to form a ring.

2. Round 1: Inside the ring, chain 3 (counts as your first dc), then make 11 more dc into the ring for a total of 12 dc. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3. (12 dc)

3. Round 2: Ch 3, dc in the same st. *2 dc in the next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3. (24 dc)

4. Round 3: Ch 3, dc in the same st. *1 dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3. (36 dc)

5. Round 4: Ch 3, dc in the same st. *1 dc in the next 2 sts, 2 dc in the next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch-3. (48 dc)
