Simple Crochet Dishcloth

Yarn: 100% Cotton Yarn, Worsted Weight (4) - Approximately 50g (1.75 oz)
Hook: Size H-8 (5.0 mm)

Gauge:

Check your gauge by making a small swatch. You should get about 14 stitches and 14 rows per 4 inches in single crochet. If your swatch is too small, try a larger hook; if too big, try a smaller hook.

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)

Instructions:

Foundation Chain: Start by making a slip knot and then chain 30. This will set you up for a square dishcloth.
Row 1: In the second chain from your hook, make 1 single crochet (sc). Continue to make 1 sc in each chain across. You should end up with 29 stitches. Turn your work.
