Materials:

Gauge:
10 stitches and 12 rows in single crochet equal 4 inches (10 cm). To measure gauge, crochet a swatch of 10x10 cm and check your stitch count. Adjust hook size as necessary.
Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- inc - increase (2 sc in one stitch)
- dec - decrease (sc2tog)
- sl st - slip stitch
Instructions:
Body:
- Make a magic ring and ch 1 (this does not count as a stitch).
- Round 1: 6 sc in the magic ring. (6 stitches)
- Round 2: inc in each stitch around. (12 stitches)
- Round 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat around. (18 stitches)
- Round 4-10: sc in each stitch around (8 rounds total).
- Round 11: (1 sc, dec) repeat around. (12 stitches)
- Round 12: (sc, dec) repeat around until closing. (6 stitches)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Arms (make 2):
- Same as Body until Round 8, then work only 4 more rounds. (12 stitches)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Legs (make 2):
- Same as Body but add an extra round of 6 after Round 10. (12 stitches)
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Hat:
- Follow Body instructions for 7 rounds, then ch 1, turn and work back for 2 additional rounds.
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Finishing:
