Instructions:

Dress Body:

1. Start with the dress: Chain 58 (for a size 12-18 months). Join with a sl st to form a ring, being careful not to twist the chain.

2. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each ch around (58 dc), join with sl st to top of ch 3.

3. Row 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, repeat around (87 dc), join.

4. Rows 3-10: Ch 3, dc in each st around, join at end of each row with sl st (87 dc in each row).

5. Once you reach row 10, you will begin the armhole shaping.

6. Row 11: Ch 3, dc in next 21, ch 14 (for strap), sk 14 sts, dc in remaining 21 st, join. (Now you have a gap for the armhole)

7. Rows 12-15: Repeat Row 11 four times.

Ruffles:

1. Switch to pink yarn. Attach yarn with a sl st at the bottom of the dress.
