Crochet Round Dishcloth

Crochet Round Dishcloth
Materials:
- 1 skein of worsted weight cotton yarn (approximately 100 yards in white)
- Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Gauge:
4” = 12 double crochet stitches and 6 rows. To measure gauge, crochet a swatch of 10 double crochets across and 6 rows high. If your swatch matches the gauge, you're good to go!

- sk = skip
- sl st = slip stitch

Instructions:
- Make the Foundation:
Start with a magic circle or create a slip knot, ch 3 (counts as the first dc). In the circle, work 11 dc. Pull the magic circle tight to close. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (12 dc total) - Round 1:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), then dc in the same st. 2 dc in each st around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (24 dc total) - Round 2:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the same st, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (36 dc total) - Round 3:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the same st, *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (48 dc total) - Round 4:
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in the same st, *1 dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st; repeat from * around. Join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. (60 dc total) - Finishing:
After completing your rounds, fasten off your yarn, leaving a long tail. Use the tapestry needle to weave in the ends securely. You can also lightly steam press your dishcloth to flatten it out. This will help the stitches to relax and look even more pristine.
