Materials

100g worsted weight cotton yarn
4.0 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Button or snap (optional)
Scissors

Instructions

Main Panel (worked flat):

Chain 36 (adjust width to match your tablet + 1.5 cm ease)
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and across
Row 2–40: ch 1, turn, sc in each st across
(Continue until the panel height is approx. 2× your tablet's height + 3–4 cm flap)

Shaping & Assembly:

Fold bottom half of rectangle up to create a pocket
Slip stitch or whip stitch the sides
Leave the top flap loose to fold over

Optional Closure:

Sew button to center of pocket
Chain a loop at center top of flap to secure over button
Or attach a snap or magnetic clasp inside
