Materials:

Yarn: Medium weight yarn (Worst weight, 4) in colors: white (for the body), pastel green (for the hat), light purple (for the ears), and beige (for the face). Approximately 50g of each color.
Crochet Hook: Size G/6 (4.0 mm).
Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill.
Safety eyes: 6mm (optional).
Yarn needle for weaving ends.

Gauge: 5 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in single crochet. To measure gauge, crochet a small swatch (10 stitches wide and 10 rows tall) and measure the length and width, adjusting your hook size if necessary.

sc: single crochet
inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
dec: decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
sl st: slip stitch
st: stitch

Instructions:

Body: Start with white yarn.

Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12 sc)
Round 3: (sc in next stitch, inc) around. (18 sc)
Round 4: (sc in next 2 stitches, inc) around. (24 sc)

Round 10: Dec around until closed. (6 sc), stuff well.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Face: With beige yarn, create a small oval by chaining 5, then turning and sc in the 2nd ch from hook and next 3 chs. (4 sc)
Attach the face with a yarn needle, sewing it onto the body. Add safety eyes or embroidered features.
Ears: (Make 2 with light purple yarn) Round 1: Magic ring 6 sc. Round 2: Inc around. (12 sc). Fold in half and sl st to form an ear, leaving a tail for sewing.
