Singing Princess Wall Hanging
Materials:
- Worsted weight acrylic yarn in the following colors: skin tone (beige), black, blue, light blue, pink, red, and purple (for musical notes)

Gauge:
Gauge is not critical for this project, but a sample swatch of 10 x 10 stitches should be approximately 4 inches square. To measure gauge, crochet a small swatch and measure with a ruler.
Abbreviations:
- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- dc - double crochet
Instructions:
This project consists of several parts: the princess’s head, body, arms, and musical notes.
Head:
- With skin tone yarn, make a magic ring (or chain 4 and join to form a ring).
- Round 1: 6 sc in ring (6)
- Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12)
- Round 3: *1 sc, 2 sc in next stitch* repeat around (18)
- Round 4: *2 sc, 2 sc in next stitch* repeat around (24)
- Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
Hair:
- With black yarn, crochet around the head piece with sc for 4 rounds.
- Add strands of hair by attaching additional pieces of black yarn, cut to approximately 5 inches long, spaced evenly around the head.
Body:
- With light blue yarn, ch 20.
- Row 1: dc in the 4th ch from hook, dc in next 15 ch, ch 1, turn (16)
- Row 2-5: dc across, ch 1, turn (16)
- Fasten off and sew to the neck of the head.
Arms:
- Make 2 pieces: With skin tone yarn, ch 10.
- Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (9)
- Row 2-4: ch 1, turn, sc across (9)
- Fasten off and sew to each side of the body.
Musical Notes:
