Lacy Triangle Bikini Top

Materials Needed:

Yarn: Sport weight cotton yarn (approximately 150-200 yards)
Hook: 4.0 mm (G-6) crochet hook

Instructions:

Top Band:
Ch 30.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (29 sc)
Row 2: Ch 2, turn. Dc in each sc across. (29 dc)
Rows 3-7: Repeat Row 2 for 5 more rows or until band measures approximately 2 inches wide. Fasten off.

Triangle Cups:
First Cup:
Ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), make 2 dc in the ring, ch 2, make 3 dc in the ring. (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) - this forms the center point of the triangle.
Round 2: Ch 1, 3 sc in ch-2 sp, ch 1, sk 3 dc, 3 sc in next ch-2 sp. Repeat around. Join with sl st to top of first dc.
Round 3: Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, ch 2, 3 dc in same space, ch 1, (3 sc in ch-2 sp, ch 1) around. Join with sl st.

Repeat Round 3 until the triangle measures approximately 5-6 inches tall, or desired size. Leave yarn attached.

Second Cup:
Repeat instructions for the first cup. Do not fasten off; instead, ch 25 and attach to the top of the first cup to form the halter neck strap.

Assembly:
Place both cups facing outward. Attach the tops of both cups to the top band using sc or sl st to secure them well. Weave in all ends using a yarn needle.
